MIROSCABLE ENGINEERING company arose from the need to contribute primarily to a better quality of power cables through the new compaction system using specially profiled rollers.
With a high degree of compaction it achieves significant savings in insulation and other materials and at the same time obtains a higher cable quality capable of heavier duty than those with weak and non compacted conductors.
Experience in the design of the rollers is long and it began in 1984. During 1989 a new design was officially recognized and obtained a patent in ex- Yugoslavia. Practical application of compaction technology began in 1984 in the Cable factory in Zajecar, Serbia and is still applied there.
In 1998 Factory for Kablowe Ozarow, Poland, bought the know-how for compacting round-shaped conductors up to 400 mm2.
The design of the rollers is continuously improved and so far compactness or filling factor reached 94%. Roundness is significantly better than the permissible values in IEC, VDE, UL, etc …
The compacting of conductors in the sector shaped has also been developed to the maximum possible level of fulfilment and reached 92%. Sector form is even and roundness of assembled sector shaped elements in the conductor core is excellent. The central angles of the sector can be from 57 to 180 degrees depending on the number of cores.
Design of rollers for compacting sector shaped conductors for Milliken EHV cables to a central angle of 60 to 72 degrees was specially developed.
Now the company possesses a design and production of rollers for compacting round shape conductors of all cross-sections from 50 up to 3500 mm2 with immediate practical possibilities to 2500 mm2.
Along with the development of rollers for compaction process, design of matrix for stranding of round shape and sector shape as additional preparation of conductors for compacting with rollers has been developed and improved.
For the successful implementation of compaction technology and high degree of compaction stranded conductors, quality of compacting head for rollers and their regular schedule on machines for stranding is necessary.
The company offers a complete project for compaction technology which can easily and simply be applied to all types of machines for twisting and regardless of their age.
We have a very good experience, over a hundred years, with use of our compacting process on the stranding line. New heads were added and our newly designed compacting rollers were installed. This was all developed by our company experts.

We build cable production facilities on a “turnkey” for all types of power cables: design, construction, installation of machinery, commissioning of machines, operator training, work organization and training of engineering staff to lead the new production facilities.
We do the installation and commissioning of all types of machines for the production of cables from machine rough drawing, stranding machines, to extrusion lines, HCV, CCV & VCV lines.
We service old machines and revitalize the vital parts of machinery or replace new parts in order to increase the quality and production capacity
